New Trump Executive Order Takes Aim At America's Veteran Suicide Crisis

I don’t have the stats on hand, but somewhere I thought I read that a large number of the vet suicides were actually from Vietnam vets and others who had been out for many years or decades. This article quotes a study that compares the likelihood of suicides between those recently out and those still in, and found that those recently out have a higher risk, which makes sense to me. But I wonder what the overall stats look like in terms of the years away from service and age of deceased.
