While it is a start the US mental health infrastructure has some serious issues. 56% of American adults with a mental illness do not receive treatment. Even in Maine, the state with the best access, 41.4% of adults with a mental illness do not receive treatment. This is in due in part to a shortage of mental health care professionals. In states with the lowest workforce, there is up to 6 times the individuals to only 1 mental health professional. This includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and psychiatric nurses combined.

He needs to pass a bill, not another worthless Executive Order that does nothing to secure the funding or a framework.

Can you explain to us, what the legislative process is for the President of the united states to write, get a committee to agree on and then pass a bill so it may be presented to himself for his own signature?

SGM Erik Marquez - C'mon, you know what I meant. I expected him to truly lead the effort. Those EOs are barely worth the paper they were written on.

Why not mental health services for all illegal aliens? Why can't my pets get mental health services too? No matter what he does or doesn't do, liberals always have something to say. I know, let's just do nothing, just like the last President who decimated the military and its moral for 8 years straight.
