Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - The people that follow the procedure are not the problem. The potential for fraud is much higher with mail-in.

You must be a registered voter to get a mail ballot and you sign the outside of the envelope when returning the ballot so that your signature can be compared with the one on file. Exact same procedure as when you vote in person except in person you don't even get a ballot if signature doesn't match.

CMSgt (Join to see) Impossible if the voter simply mails his/her ballot as intended. Situations where this has happened involved individuals collecting ballots, often before voter even completed them.
