Unbeknownst to us, every time we give into this extremely strong desire for a sense of essentially empty physical pleasure, be it self induced and managed or with the use of an external partner, we end up wasting our life force energy and forming attachments that bring us an equal amount of suffering as they do extacy.

This is not like the feeling of hunger, if a man is hungry he can eat to his fill and be full for a time before he needs to eat again,

This desire for the best part of a human being compounds upon itself and has us always seeking more, trapping us in a prison of insataible desires with karmic consequences.
