Also establishing a no fly zone over a sovereign nation is also casus belli for war, because that can be interpreted as siege warfare which is a war crime by the UN

that's good pretext to create a scenario where a hostile nation can create a reason for Casus Belli... by sending a passanger plan into the no fly zone... I am pretty sure shooting a civilian plane despite what justification you think you may have will result in a formal declaration of war.

Cpl Benjamin Long Agreed. This is why, if war is actually declared (not a police action...or whatever it is we've been in for the last 20ish years) something like this should be used sparingly & only over areas of extreme concern.
