Interesting story. I wouldn't have thought that the content of a photo would be looked at any differently no matter who took it.

Who makes the art has a lot to do with the art itself, if only in choice of subject and attitude.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I don't doubt that at all. The author seemed to be of the point of view that the photographs taken by women aren't any different than the ones taken by men, and that the only difference was in how the photographers were treated. I disagree with that premise. I think that many times, men and women look at the same scene and see different things they want to capture in a photo. (I also think there's a lot of overlap, that often men and women see much the same thing. I also think we all have different perspectives and therefore might all see slightly different things in the same scene that we might wish to capture with a photo, and so those differences in perspective are not solely due to the differences between men and women. But I think it's foolish to pretend the differences don't exist.)
