Excellent article. I do not think anyone is untouched in war.

U.S. citizens and of course the rest of the population are not aware or not concerned the U.S.A. is in a war. Poor political leadership has contributed to the attitude. The television continues broadcasting, game is on, credit card still working with no shortages and of course no draft.
The serving military and the military families suffer in this war and must find their own way through a multitude of problems.

I agree. There is no sacrifice being made by the taxpayers. Had the populace been forced to pay as we go for these wars, those wars would have been over a long time ago.

Sgt Wayne Wood I can see that it was difficult for him to write the article, you have to share that you are not always able to take care of yourself and control your anger. This is a hard fact to deal with and in the world, no one else really wants to take the time to understand, at first blush. Once they gain a level of understand, sometimes they will care and listen and spend a little time showing they care. This is usually the best you can get.
