SGT John " Mac " McConnell - The annoying thing is that people try to compare the modern Syrian refugee crisis and out lack of many Americans not wanting them to this. They can't separate the historical context and time of this event, as it relates current modern threats. They don't understand that Jews don't strap bombs to themselves and blow up rock concerts, they don't actually have a doctrine of convert or die. I am not saying all Muslims observe or do what I mentioned, but many do either by direct action or indirect support. So, in my opinion the two issues are not the same and I think we should have assisted the Jews escaping, but we need to find other options for the Syrians...
