There are not a lot of things that amaze me anymore MAJ James Woods, but I think I had a slight stroke when I read this and it wasn’t a DuffelBlog article, LOL.

Great meme. What is the belt supposed to do in the sunlight? It isn't rechargable.

I figured they were using it to help hold their shorts up. Seriously, it is about time we treated people like adults.

No shit, there I was...haha! Camp Buehring Kuwait and just had dinner, walking back to hooch, sun going down. Was in civilians attire since authorized in there. Sun going down. NCO stopped me and asked where was my PT belt. I said, “it’s not that dark and I’m walking across camp”. (Didn’t want to pull rank) He said, “you don’t want to get hit by a vehicle”. My reply, “I’ll be sure to get out of the way when I see those headlights.”
Yes we need to start treating soldiers like adults no matter the rank. A PVT can go to war but mist be constantly reminded not to do stupid things every weekend. The CYA factor must be changed.

I'm shocked. How many soldiers will pay for this decision with their very lives???
Oh yeah, none.
