No Savior: New Study Torches Ocasio-Cortez’s Global Warming Narrative For Green New Deal

We have come a long way in clean technology since the EPA was formed in 1970. The Green Bad Deal(Borrowed from Canada and other countries) will take away from our Military and enable our enemies to weaken us because we will put too much effort and money on a flawed premis of 'saving the earth'. Watch China attack and conquer Taiwan and our response may be a devastating resulting in global cooling, destroyed ozone, famine and from a limited nuclear exchange. Nature going rogue on us is not the issue. The Green Bad Deal(with bad results) is already starting in Canada and it will be in full force by 2022. They are predicting carbon taxes will add $120 per plane ticket for flying coast to coast in Canada or internationally. I won't fly less and progressive politicians know this! It won't be revenue neutral because I make too much money on my Canadian Tax return. Things to come if you vote in a Green Old Bad Canadian Deal Democrat in 2020.

The question is do we really need more legislation to limit carbon emissions anymore?
Examples of environmentalism/feel good stuff in corporate culture:
McDonalds: Going to range free eggs, not to save money but because people have asked.
Burger King: The Impossible Whopper. Why? Because people asked for it.
JP Morgan Chase: Invested heavily into Tesla (2006-7) through venture capitalists and a product wasnt even on the market or foreseen to have any marketshare in the next decade
Google Energy, LLC: Research into minimizing Google's environmental impact
As long as the economy is stable, this sort of thing will continue. In a recession, they try to find ways to cut costs.

I'm not a tree hugger but I do believe that the EPA has done great things for the environment and the ability of our grandchildren to have a polution free world. It would be great if things like this could come at no cost or if all manufacturers would take steps on their own to protect the environment, but the reality is that it simply won't happen. YES there is a cost that everyone must pay, and yes there are crazy ideas out there on environmental issues, but that doesn't mean we just stop trying to make the environment something that future generations will be able to enjoy.

My newer Dodge Challenger gets 30 miles per gallon on the highway with an 8-speed transmission and a 305 horsepower V6. My 66 Mustang with 225 horsepower v8 gives me a freaking headache even though it sounds awesome but it only gets about 14 miles per gallon. We have come a long way so I don't think I need to pay 2 to $3,000 a year to save the Earth with golf Delta carbon taxes like the Canadians want us to pay very soon and $120 a ticket Airline carbon tax. That's what they're doing in Canada and that's why I'm trying to prevent from happening in the USA. My second beer is that we will get in a war that will destroy half of civilization because we put all our emphasis on climate change instead of keeping our defense up. It will become a self-fulfilling prophecy we have destruction of the ozone layer, global cooling and millions dead because it looks like crazy Ocasio Cortez, the 20 candidates running for president on the Democratic side and others are trying to scare us into putting money in the wrong resources while our enemies prepare to strike.

LTC (Join to see) But you are paying, my 68 GTO cost around $7500.00 loaded, probably a little more or around same as your Mustang. Your Challenger costs at least twice that, so you're paying for the technology already. Agree the massive taxes and plans are over the top, but nothing good comes free. I'm not overly concerned that emphasis on climate change is going to divert funds from defense, we managed to do both during the Cold War and we aren't even close to the level of tension we had in those days.
