Sadly, we have now become part of the multi national list having to deal with terrorism on their own soil.

I wouldn't mind so much if it weren't so political. We lose the initiative when we give up bases (Power Projection Platforms) and remove assets willy-nilly and create security vacuums. Vigilance requires forward capabilities.
