I call bullshit on this...First the vaccine is voluntary...Second...there haven't been enough trials to say it is effective for two weeks, month, 6 months or longer...third, even after the vaccine you can still catch COVID and can still be an asymptomatic carrier so it is pretty much ineffective in my book. If it is voluntary then why make it mandatory for travel?

I don't fly or go on cruises, and rarely stay in a motel, so they can restrict all they want.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen it is BS...not proven to be effective...you can still transmit and receive the virus even after the vaccine so what's the point...

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth Just saw a discussion on that last night. Both doses of the vaccine keep YOU from getting sick but not necessarily from catchig the virus. You can still get the virus to the point where you could spread it, you just won't get sick but can definitely be a spreader so wearing a mask is still recommended. Lots of unknowns about the virus but the vaccine keeps you from getting sick enough to be hospatilized and that's the point. Heck even folks who get a flu shot occasionally still get the flu.

Interesting question. What do your doctors say? I'm not sure anyone knows the answer to how long the antibodies remain in your body.

I would certainly hope so. If it is true that having had Covid protects you from then on, then I am glad that my wife and I have had Covid.

Makes sense to me. The whole idea is to control the spread of this virus around the world, this would do it. For you rights infringed folks, you always have the right to not travel and thus protect your fellow citizens.

Will they begin to require proof of vaccination for polio and measles? COVID is not the only disease that can cause misery and death.

MAJ Byron Oyler It's been done before however polio and measles vaccinations have become so predominate around the world that the practice stopped. I still remember having to show my yellow immunization record to get into some countries.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - When people talk about having to show they have had the vaccine, they need to talk about how this was done in the past. I am an RN and have never heard of this so I am certainly not the only one.

MAJ Byron Oyler In the 50s, 60s and early 70s you had to have a paper shot record for international travel. I recall my parents getting them for the family before every trip. When I got in the AF in the late 60s we all had a yellow shot record book that we had to carry with us.
