Thank you for the article. On paper I would have given the 30 ID no chance against 4 panzer divisions. Now I have a clearer picture of why it took us a while to break out of Normandy.

CW5 Jack Cardwell - It makes it more clearer why it took us about 3 weeks to break away from the Normandy area to go on the offense. We became the meat grinder.
