North Korea’s Nuclear Test Site Is Largely Unusable, Chinese Scientists Say

Nuclear weapon testing in and of itself is an environmental catastrophe. We used to test these things in the open.

Now that their test site is unusable, they are more than happy to come to the table agreeing not to do any more tests. Well until they complete the construction of a new site anyway. They've been playing this same game for years.

That maybe why they initially halted Nuclear testing but I agree with the Trump administration as to why they are at the table. China is now particiapating in sanctions and the Trump administration was the first Presidential Administration since the end of the Korean War to issue a serious military threat to North Korea backed up by a show of military force. I think that coupled with China telling them it would not come to their aid this time if they provoked a conflict.........got them to the table more than anything else.
