President Trump needs to follow President Kennedy's lead. As JFK warned Russia that any attack originating from Cuba would be interpreted as originating in the USSR, any attack by NK would be interpreted as an attack by China.

The only problem with that is if we attack North Korea preemptively, does that count as an attack on China?

Sad, but typical. In all the books written by North Korean escapees that I have read, they authors were prepared to take their own lives rather than go back to North Korea.
