Northern California fire leaves 6 dead as officials worry high winds could flame blaze

Tragic news sir.

Think government agencies are exempt.

But if arson is determined or otherhuman agency... they’ll get billed.

For this fire & the Yosemite one i’d bet on lightening strike.

That part of NorCal is my old stomping grounds. Mostly grazing & farmland. Note that the fire had to jump the Sacto River to get to the structures. The river is kind of the western natural limit of Redding... the city hasn’t appreciably grown in the 30 or so years i’ve had an interest. Most growth is south along the I-5 corridor.
