Good Morning my RP Brothers and Sisters and I hope you all have a wonderful Labor Day Holiday!
As I was searching for a good short video clip of the Moon & Jupiter over the Swiss Alps to add to Maj William W. 'Bill' Price's APOD, I came across an Instrumental song and a gorgeous backdrop of the skies over the Atacama Desert... The instrumental song is Titled "You'll Believe A Man Can Fly” - Mattia Cupelli:
This video is definitely one which needs to be watched full screen on the largest screen available for the full impact of what is shown!
Background:
"The Atacama desert is home to the darkest and cleanest skies in the world. A view to the nightsky rewards with uncountable numbers of stars and fantastic nebulas in one of the most quiet a empty places on earth. Not a single noise distracts from the grand show the night sky has to offer.
The environment is harsh though. Filmed in freezing temperatures, altitudes up to 5,000 m/16,000 ft, salt lakes and icy slopes, the Atacama is not friendly to life and equipment, though it provides without doubt for epic and vast vistas of one of the greatest landscapes on earth." Timestorm Films

This one was not an add on to the Major's APOD... I came across this one as I was searching for a video to complement Bill Price's APOD... Check my response to Bill's APOD for the short video I included in my response to his post! everything gets confusing at times. LOL!
