Why would NPR offer a retraction. They should simply post a warning on every broadcast, "Any similarity between our news and reality is purely coincidental and NPR takes no responsibility for any action or decision based on such information as they may glean from our broadcasts." That should just about cover it.

Now, let's work on shutting down NPR...

CPT Jack Durish or this Rod Serling voice-over disclaimer: "imagine you're living in a time when journalists make up their own news, fail to disclose hidden agendas, and prostitute corporate hacks and portray them as they are not, all to promote a false narrative in the name of reporting the Truth. You have now entered The NPR Zone..." Cue music....for Prairie Home Companion.

Oh no! NPR had to issue a correction. Now lets see Fox News, Breitbart, Newsmax, The Washington Times, etc. offer to the same. That will never happen.
