NOT A PROMOTION!!
I myself am a Life Member of the NRA (believe it or not) and like their early programs and forward thinking. I am not a big fan of some of their lobbying though. What say you fellow RP'ers?

I was a 5-year member (repeatedly) until last year, when I switched to Life Member. I also gifted my son-in-law with an annual membership. Glad to say he is going to extend his membership.
I am glad to hear all the crazy accusations of the NRA by the gun-grabbing wackos. It must mean they are doing something effective for the membership, to earn that much hatred.

I didn't realize the history of this organization. I like the commitment to safety and training. Will have to do more research on their lobbying.
