Yesterday during a couple media interviews I emphasized the need for greater understanding (or even a little understanding) among all Americans--especially our elected representatives--about the nature and demands of military service... as well as consistent and copious investments in veterans' health, wellbeing, and employment.

Agree 100%. Which is why we should take every opportunity to educate them in a clear, concise and patient manner.
