NYPD Union Leader Vincent Vallelong Criticizes Mayor Bill de Blasio For Anti-ICE Policies

For any states in the red - sanctuary cities should be criminal. I feel like I should be able to sue Chicago and Illinois for this policy - misappropriation of tax dollars. Illinois Court of Appeals refused to restrict taxpayers’ right to sue, holding that instead of forcing the plaintiff to prove that their individual tax bills would increase as a result of government misconduct, they had a right to ensure that the government followed the "law", and that was enough. Seems rather hypocritical that I must pay state taxes (taxes dollars go to efforts to circumvent federal law) and federal taxes (taxes dollars for enforcing federal laws) yet state can spend it as it sees fit.
