I've been responsible for sending teams into foreign lands to take out targets. Awesome responsibility. I am glad these guys are on our side. Thanks brothers.

This is not new. In 2004, the SECDEF, pursuant to the National Security Strategy and the National Security Strategy for Combatting Terrorism, designated the US Special Operations Command, not only as a Combatant Commander, but also the SUPPORTED commander for the GWOT. His AOR was basically planet Earth (all COCOMs, as they were Supporting Commanders).
