Vladimir Putin plays hockey and — surprise — wins big
Two months after he mysteriously disappeared from the public eye, Russian President Vladimir Putin's machismo was again on full display as he skated with former NFL stars in an exhibition hockey match.
Putin's team, which featured former NHL players Valeri Kamensky and Pavel Bure, won, 18-6, with the 62-year-old scoring eight of the goals. As is generally the case in these games, Putin's movement around the ice was generally unimpeded. Last year, Putin scored six goals and notched five assists in a similarly competitive exhibition game.
EDITORIAL COMMENT:- On the other hand, they don't move the greens closer to the tee or make the holes bigger when Mr. Obama plays golf.
