Wait a minute sir you misquoted you added 'the' which does not belong and changes the whole statement. 9/11 did change the world for good (forever)..

"9/11 changed the world for good and there’s not other way to say it. I just hope we keep having open conversations about our differences.”

Why is the Muslim a derogatory word??

Muslim is a derogatory word for me because I have studied it. I have no problem living in a world of diverse religious preferences. However, when a religion is based on a premise which is totally contradictory to Western Civilization in general and American Constitutional law in particular, I have no use for it, no trust in it, and I certainly don't want it practiced in lieu of the Constitution. Now many American-Muslims live here and are good American citizens. The problem they face is that they are apostates in their own religion. I'm not one to judge or complain inasmuch as I am not particularly observant in my own. However, those who wish to practice Islam as they are instructed, I have a problem because it is fundamentally intolerant of all other points of view including (maybe especially) mine.
