Obituary: Stephen Hawking

One of the greatest scientific minds of the last one hundred years has been silenced. It’s hard to believe he’s gone, even though he lived over fifty years longer than doctors said he would when he was first diagnosed with motor neurone disease. I read his two books and wished that he’d written a library full of them. He was a genius who was able to make the Universe as understandable as First Grade mathematics.
