Here is the underlining issue which demonstrates the difference between those prior Secretaries who only received classified email on their personal accounts and what Secretary Clinton has done. According to the reports, they did not use these accounts as a primary means to conduct government business, nor did they build a personal server for that same effort, nor did they forward the received classified e-mails.

Patreus knowingly gave TS-SCI material to someone he had an affair with who was not authorized to see it. Told the FBI in 2012 that he no longer had possession of any classified material. Then in 2013 the FBI searches his home and finds TS SCI material in his desk, and not only doesnt he go to jail, there is an uproar at just the suggestion that he lose a star in retirement for what he did. So where really is the hypocrisy?

Petraeus was fired from his job, fined a hundred thousand dollars, and has a federal felony conviction on his record for what he did.
And he actually served his country for his entire life - he fucked up in this respect, but otherwise was an honorable person and gave a great deal to his country.
Keep in mind also - not justifying what he did - that the person he gave this information to had the appropriate clearance to see it. She had no need to know, which puts him in the wrong, but his wrongdoing is nowhere near the level of what Clinton and her aides pulled.
Hillary? Yeah.

I have to agree with the senior chief on this one. I am tired of the excuse the documents where not marked as classified. I believe those where taken off for one thing and that still doesn't excuse the person. The law states they don't have to be marked to be classified. and she signed a paper acknowledging that very thing.
