Not going to happen. Of course CA is about 12% of the US GDP so it could be independent if they started making some desalinization plants to deal with the whole, "hey we don't have enough water but we are sitting next to the ocean" problem.

Hahaha! Texas has been talking this for years. This type of crap needs to just stop.

I am from California and if we just cut out LA and let it float away or better yet sink it, San Fran will fall into line and CA will be a team player once again. Maybe that is why there is a fault line there..
