As a young adult the 70's was great! The music was fantastic. I don't understand this "music" of today.

They put rap in baby tv shows. My son loves it, and I cringe, but he’s doing so well with reading and counting that I don’t want to stop his educational shows. I have found that the volume button on the remote is my friend.

SPC Terry Page - I don't even think the kids do. They just go along with it because it is the in thing to listen to.

Cpl Vic Burk - my wife is a few decades younger than I, and she knows all the lyrics to many of the “songs”. After our son was born, she kinda decided that she didn’t want him learning all that, so we changed genres.

Growing up on a farm, we didn’t have that stuff, but my uncle the OBGYN had both houses decorated with shag and wood grain. Their rec room was amazing. He even had a keg in a refrigerator, but he noticed that he ran out of beer faster. There was no lock on the fridge and back then you didn’t lock the doors because kids were in and out all day, and of course they found the beer..
