Three years ago, on March 11, 2020, COVID-19 was officially designated a pandemic by the World Health Organization. The novel coronavirus had fanned out across the globe, and the world had lost its ability to contain it. Countries reacted to the emerging disease with a mix of denial, incredulity and fear. Jan. 5, 2020: WHO issued an announcement that not quite a week prior, their China Country Office had learned of "cases of pneumonia of unknown etiology (unknown cause) detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province of China. As of 3 January 2020, a total of 44 patients with pneumonia of unknown etiology have been reported to WHO by the national authorities in China."

What has been swept under the rug is Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada declared the Delta variant and restricted flights from India and Pakistan two weeks before the USA did and nobody called him a racist. I know this because one of my co-workers from Pakistan was going to fly to India and visit his family in Pakistan and he couldn't because the Canadian government canceled all flights. 2 weeks later, the United States did the same thing. What's really stupid is the United States still has restrictions for unvaccinated people to come into the USA But illegal aliens are able to come in. That Australian top-notch tennis player has to come in through Florida by the invitation of Ron DeSantis to play because of stupid covid restrictions in place.

President Biden also put restrictions in place not allowing truckers to come in to the USA without a 14-day quarantine if they weren't vaccinated so Canada did the same thing and that's when you had the big trucker protest and lockdowns of Canada's capital by big rigs for weeks. It was only when President Biden dropped the regulation on the US side did Canada do the same. This Administration keeps restrictions for law-abiding people but not for illegal aliens. It doesn't make sense!
We Now find out with investigations going on by Congressman Jim Jordan and his panel on how Dr fauci lied and told his other doctors to be quiet and have a uniform belief that the coronavirus didn't start at the Wuhan lab. People took advantage of this and we find out now because of the Twitter Revelation how the US government worked with social media and the National Institute of Health to stifle debate on the origins of coronavirus, any internal debate about the virus, and Therapeutics such as hydroxychloroquine that president Trump was using once he got sick. Democracy has been damaged because of decisions made by people in corrupt positions of power not to allow information to come out and to make it disinformation.
It's supposed to Historic time and also the worst of times because now we're finding out how we were lied to by Democratic states and how places like Florida prospered because of no paranoid lockdown rules.

It is tragic this became political. I blame Trump for not reacting sensibly and I blame some Democrats for using his actions, or lack of actions, for political gain.
