Many fear that if Trump is elected, democracy will be at stake. I say good, because we are a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy. I fear that we are on the verge of losing our republic.

PO1 H Gene Lawrence - Not arguing that. I did not say there was no difference. But I maintain a republic is a form of democracy. And I never refer to a "true democracy" as mentioned in your article.

Is America a democracy or a republic? Yes, it is

Election denialism has become not only a thing but a movement. And if critics call this an attack on democracy, some election deniers respond by saying the U.S. is not a democracy, it is a republic.
