I'm surprised I haven't seen more about this before today. I live in Harris County.

At least they're trying to fix it, I guess. I wonder what made those people plead guilty to a crime they didn't commit? I mean, they had to know they didn't have any drugs on their person. Coercion maybe?

SP5 Christine Conley - What legal expenses are you referring to? I thought court appointed attorneys were "free." (as in, the accused doesn't foot the bill)

makes you wonder how many years this type of stuff has been going on in that county. Kind of scary it still goes on.
