Online romance scams

Has anyone dealt with this situation of a scam before? It's wider spread than we think. People posing as US soldiers, stationed over seas, dating sites connection, Facebook connection, it's horrible! Please pass this link on to help protect the REAL USA soldiers and protect the person we know if we believe he/she is being scammed.
