Interesting that one of the most telling aspects of the article was glossed over with a one-sentence mention buried near the end. "... Putin gets it... ". While the reference was to AI what *REALLY* needs to be studied was the Russian use of drones in the Georgia/South Ossetia & Ukraine/Crimea campaigns.

I think we will see some improvements in warfare. We have seen the Machine gun and Stealth change tactics. It is about time for something new.

SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint I thought I had read somewhere, or observed a video, regarding hand-held surveillance drones used by operators in-country. Not sure if that was a conceptual thing or not, though.
