Thanks for sharing. I hope that veterans are beating down the doors to get into this program. I hope that the scholarships are enough to help veterans pay for the entire bootcamp. After completing the course, veterans need to keep practicing and learning more until they get the job they are looking for. Visual Studio (community version) is free to download and keep up with their newly learned skills. There are other free resources out there such as local Meetup.com or evenbrite.com user groups for learning and networking. Don't forget about checking youtube. There are some very good training videos covering a lot of IT areas not just limited to development. I have learned a lot from watching SQL server training as well. One more link you should follow is Microsoft's free Virtual Academy - mva.microsoft.com.
