I think on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being horrible and 1 being.... what is the big deal? I would rate the Japanese internment camps about a 2 or 3. Yes it was a disruption to their lives but they were all treated fairly well as compared to Americans living overseas that were either executed or brutalized by the Japanese. If Japan did not have a national religion which most of the Japanese ascribe to without question regardless of citizenship AND if that religion wasn't playing a major role in the war and it's strategy...........this never would have happened probably. I view it more the fault of Japanese culture than I do the United States.
