To answer your question, The federal government should be making no law on restricting guns.
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
The states have the ability to make laws related to guns but not the feds. You are welcome to turn yours in, melt them down, bury them in the back yard etc.

I dunno... How many legislators get funding from Planned Parenthood? Do we need to do something about that?

Absolutely. It is unfathomable to me that Planned Parenthood execs could be caught on video doing some of the things that they laugh about, and still be supported instead of prosecuted. Any politician who deals with that organization is tainted by the 60 million + murders committed since Roe v. Wade in '73. It is nothing less than legalized genocide.

SSG Michael Eastes - Oh, I absolutely agree with everything you just wrote. My question, though, was aimed at those who think "something needs to be done" about legislators receiving campaign donations from the NRA. Campaign funding is campaign funding, and it goes from groups who advocate policies to legislators who support those policies. It doesn't matter what the groups are or what the policies are, the phenomenon is the same.

I take your point. As much as I detest Planned Parenthood, they do have the legal right to donate to their political allies. So does the NRA. Even that collaborationist creep, Soros, although he skirts legality frequently, IMO.
