SGT (Join to see) - mainly his rant about white people needing to take responsibility for the actions of some other white people more than 100 years ago. I notice he didn't say anything about black people needing to take responsibility for the actions of black people who sold their brothers to the white people in the first place.

LTC (Join to see) - Good point. Many people (especially blacks, in my experience) overlook that bit of info. A few years ago, a white friend brought up that same thing, provided evidence, and I just had MORE questions. Honestly, as of now, my stance is that you can't be extremist either way regarding racism. That's just me, though.

What they have done to the awards is make future nominations a joke. Will the actors be awarded for real good performances or will they be nominated for their race? Our country has been torn apart for so many things, I just shake my head and wonder what's going through sane people's heads.
