OUTRAGE: Federal Court Rules Stolen Valor Is Protected By First Amendment

While "fakers" repulse me, and "takers" infuriate me...I can see instances where making the Stolen Valor itself a crime could be more complicated than simply allowing stupidity to cast it's own shadow. However, I do think it would be appropriate to charge one of these jokers for fraud if they so much as try and get a free steak dinner.

Well, if that is the case, then I will certainly express my Freedom of Speech by publicly calling them out and let the public around us to know that they are faking and looking like idiots.

I just don't understand how this is not a crime.....like the post states, it is illegal to impersonate an office, why is it not illegal to impersonate a military member to receive free stuff? I applaud those who approach them and video the conversations, only to blast it on social media in hopes of discouraging them from continuing their charade!
