A1C (Join to see) - On the upside the addition of their oil to the free market has driven the price per barrel further down and large economies such as China are struggling and buying less because of the economic downturn and because it is getting oil free from Venezuela (Venezuela is using their oil instead of currency because their economy is currently upside down).

A1C (Join to see) - I agree but I think we knew this was going to happen, with them. The capture of the U.S. Sailors had more to do with a fraction inside Iran than Iran's dislike of us. The Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps is a part of this fraction which was against nuclear agreement deal. It was their hope that by holding the Sailors they would derail the Nuclear agreement.

So what exactly were we supposed to do differently after we violated their territory with an armed military force? They released the sailors and the boats in less then 24 hours. What was supposed to happen to Iran for them detaining intruders the same way we do? How does this put a target on any of our troops?

This was a completely self inflicted wound by our Navy. It is embarrasing that they can't get two boats from point A to B without ending up in Iranian territory. So when you make an embarrasing mistake, don't whine about getting embarrassed.

And your ok with them violating international laws that forbid the filming of prisoners?

NO, PO2 Mark Saffell I'm not ok with any of it. I believe the whole situation was used to make the US look weak.
