I have always loved this aircraft from the first time I saw it when I was young in books and TV. Ever since I have read everything possible about it. From its ability to approach such air compression issues that it sent designers back to the drawing boards with new data to solve. As well as the spark for the ejection seat. As stated in the article:
"Danger of hitting the horizontal stabilizer. A remedy for this was eventually a pilot’s seat that was ejected from the cockpit, a forerunner of today’s versions."
