Donald Trump isn't one to share the spotlight, but on Tuesday night, he made an exception for the former Alaska governor and John McCain's 2008 vice presidential running mate.
Palin appeared alongside Trump at a raucous campaign rally, following days of speculation about the identity of a "special guest."

Nevertheless, I don't get it.
Sarah Palin hasn't been politically relevant since 2008 and has embraced the old wrestling adage of "It doesn't matter if they're talking bad about you, as long as they're still talking about you." Even though her and Trump have been in some weird political lovefest since he announced his candidacy, I don't see what Sarah Palin has to offer. She has no political or street cred (even my Brothers and Sisters in Alaska rolled their eyes when they hear her name now), her family has become a lightning rod for every controversy, and she could be seen as a turncoat for turning her back on her Tea Party running buddy Ted Cruz.
Nevertheless, I don't get it.
