I am not going to defend Trump or his overly errant mouth. He absolutely needs to shut up for a while and do some studying. I suspect that he'll have some time following the GOP National Convention, before the serious campaigning begins. Can he learn all that he obviously needs to learn in the time? Hell no! Thus, he needs a plan. My suggestion would be to bring together a team of respectable experts, his proposed cabinet appointees, who will help fill in his gaps. Then he needs to let them speak for him in each of their respective areas. In other words, he needs to present himself at the head of a team we can trust. I can't imagine We the People trusting him on his own. Actually, Hillary should do the same. Whereas Trump "appears" to have some serious breaches in his competency, Hillary has demonstrate an abyss that only the most die-hard ideologue can overlook.

Very well said! Now this was very Candid and substantive! The Problem is, Donald Trump has no SELF-DISCIPLINE or SELF-CONTROL! That's the core reason all the things you suggested he should do wont come into Fruition!

CPT Jack, I hope he begins to take it serious with what his position would be if he gets elected. So far, he and the others act like school kids, throwing names around, calling each other names. It's hard to take someone serious when they act like fool most of the time. I agree with everything you said about what he should do. Will he do it? We'll have to wait and see.

Trump speaks in a fashion that everyone says. "I wish someone would just be natural and tell it like it is" then when someone does they tear him apart. There are more important things... like 94 million Americans need work

It depends on who he says it to, and to what nationality he lambasts. I don't know why he is so hung up on the Hispanics. Saying things they wish they could say, but don't, doesn't give Trump carte blanch to be rude, and insulting. I have yet to hear him say anything about world affairs that make sense. I get the idea he thinks he can go balls to the wall, if he gets elected, and do whatever he wants to do without clearing it or having meetings about it, like building that wall, nuking ISIS, firing everyone in charge at the VA and rehiring who he wants there. I was leaning towards Trump after he got nominated, but he would cause too many problems with our allies and our enemies.

Political correctness changes textbooks it's undeniably real. To the effect that during the debates no candidate would make a strong statement against detainees in gitmo. Trump said 'yeah i'd bring back waterboarding'. everyone lost it. not realizing the true context. same with the muslim ban. he was taking daily interviews and said sure as a humanitarian we shouldnt deny refugees. day or two later they they say trump get a load of this obama wants 10k refugees and haha he says hell no we dont even know whats going on. so its all context and you cant put everything out there so people become informed on these well placed tidbits and it snowballs. my only hope is that nature takes it course.
