I'd stumbled across his material some time ago, I do glance through it periodically, I merely didn't know if you were aware of him or not...I might also wonder whether the ACLU might conceivably take an interest in such a topic, to try to raise a court challenge to the provisions involved. If the bill were ever to pass and be signed. I realize that's onoy a thohght, and, of course, I'm obvioisly not in any way, manner, shape, and/or form an attorney, by any means, however, I merely suggest it as food for thought, along with providing you with his website, I hope the material is of at least some ise, and would of course be most eager for your thoughts, by all means, I obvioisly do not expect to ne agreed with, certainly, many thanks...

Thanks for the link. I have seen his book on getting Chapter 31 Vocat Rehab entitlements through the VA but I hadn't seen his website. So there's another email I will be getting regularly, which may help my clients.
As for the ACLU, they have been one of several national organizations that have been following this legislation. Here is the link for their explanation of what this law will really do to the ADA. As I said, I worked with several veterans with disabilities when the ADA was being pushed. This is just another slap in the face to veterans...from people who like to claim how much they love the military and veterans.

My circumstances cause me exceptionally BSD vertigo on very long escalators, as such, I've looked quite heavily at requirements to place elevators at railroad stations with elevated platforms having interminably and quite frequently, at least to me, often seemingly terrifyingly long escalator rides, which I, for my part, simply can't tolerate, quite honestly. Now, I merely pose thst analogy, since, while perhaps not the equivalent certainly of spinal cord damage cases, by any means, I merely thought it might possibly afford you a somewhat useful line of reasoning. Next, I'd most definitely, though I'm certain that's already occurred to you, seek out the help of the other majormvet groups, e?g., DAV, A!er Legion, AMVETS, VVA, Wounded Warrior, and newspapers and TV stations, which you've also nomdoubt considered. Next, you might think about starting a pegitimate fundraising chsrity similar to others I'd seem, where contributions are sought inline for worthwhile causes, which would obvioisly necessitate all the governing mappers the associated with a 501(c)(3l type organization, I'd assu!e, though obvioislymthat's just a guess in my part, of course. Then, too, I'd look at case law on a state and local level, In effort to try to seek legal means to see if such a law could possibly ne turned over as being actually unconstitutional in some fashion, using local and/or state law as a collective precedemt, though I obvioisly have nonkmowledge whether such an approach could succeed at all, certainly. I'd obviously like to give the whole problem more thought; I've often thought that a national referendum should actually be implemented on a systematic basis as a means to answer such questions that would otherwise be fundamentally irresolvable. Certain questions could never have been anticipated by the Founders; this problem, inthunk, represents just such one of many such examples that have already occurred to me in the past as I've reflected on numerous topics of similar legal complexity. I frequently find, in my musings, that, for the most part, the legalmaspedts that most frequently intersect human life in any advanced society are not, in fact, constitutional in character, rather, theyntemd to ne administrative, that, in fact, admin law has an increasingly profound impact on human society, this being just one such example. As I said, let kemgive the matter more thouyghtz if you have further thoughts, idmcertainoy be most eager to hear them. Someone, a long while ago, in listening to me about a certain problem I'd been having, said, in reflection, he was also a quite good attorney idnhadnoccasion tonchatnwuth, said that, in his view, though I never got a chance to find out, he used a peculiar expression to describe his reaction to my line of thohght, he said that he thought I had what he termed a "flyable argument", a concept that has stuck in my mind for a quite protracted period. In a case like this, I think you need to find just such a flyable argument, in analogous fashion. Mine was thst others being treated in one fashion, if here were then artificially created another subgroup considered neigh them for an admin decision, according to artificially imposed criteria, that doing so would ne fundamentally unfairz and inequitable. I could perhaps elaborate, ifmyou mighyncare to hear more, however, I merely thought to recount my turn of mind at thst point, in the hope you might somehow find it of use, asmid said, I'd be most eager to know your further thoughts I hope minenweremof at least some possible value, many thanks.

Just don't call me late to dinner, dude. Lol!!
Seriously though, please get as many people as you know to contact your senators to reject this bill in its entirety. This totally guts the ADA's teeth. I worked with many military veterans when we were trying to get the ADA passed in Congress back in the 1980s. We are now working the phones, letter writing campaign, etc. to get this bill killed completely.
