Open Fairfax County Public Schools coalition petitioned a Fairfax County Court judge to recall Elaine Tholen, who voted against reopening schools despite evidence that it was safe. The group collected more than 5,000 signatures [which is the signature threshold required] from people who agreed Tholen was negligent in her duties to Fairfax County students, particularly those with special needs.

Lt Col Charlie Brown Thank you! I thought the health department would report that to the CDC, so Hhealthcare providers could access that for studies. Shows how much I know! I just got an email that mask wearing is optional for schools this year. Even though I am vaccinated, I continue to wear mine when I can't social distance. I am aged (lol) and high risk.
