On December 3rd, California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced a new stay-at-home order mandating, among other restrictions, that outdoor playgrounds be closed. This prompted an immediate backlash from parents, medical professionals, and some state legislators who insisted that outdoor play for children is not only safe but essential for children’s health and well-being. The parent pushback worked, with Newsom backpedaling last week and reopening playgrounds.
This is an important example of the vital role parents play in opposing government lockdown orders and related restrictions that defy science and can cause more harm than good—especially for children.

Sad to say, that when our elected Politicians go overboard with the the Power that they have been given and become destructive to the People, we must fight back with all we have, or be crushed by fear... Great post, Lt Col Charlie Brown !

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - As the saying goes "United We Stand, Divided We Fall" and we are more divided than United, on a broad scope of issues... I agree with you about common sense seemingly becoming extinct... and that is what usually keeps us all united... The Virus has turned our world upside down and backwards in my view... there is no room for the theatrical politics, we all need to use our COMMON SENSE, across the board... Great comment, Jack...
