Thanks for reminding us SP5 Mark Kuzinski of the secret peace talks between Henry Kissinger and Le Duc Tho, the North Vietnamese representative.
As expected the "sticking points were the implementation of the international supervisory force and Saigon’s insistence on the withdrawal of all North Vietnamese troops from South Vietnam."
It is no surprise that those sticking points made the process untenable.
