Beating up the handicapped and blind is just plain wrong. I was a bully too, but against those that bullied those that couldn't defend themselves. Got 6 mo. probation for one act of kindness.

My mom worked for the Sheriffs Dept when I was growing. If I ever got in trouble where the cops had to be callled it was always because I was defending myself or someone else. But I wasn't aware of my strength at the time so a lot of broken noses and dislocated jaws :/.
I usually just got suspended. Which wasn't any fun cause I was just put to work all day on our families farm!.... school was a break from child labor hahahaha. Oh well, at least I gained a lot of good working ethics. But that when my grandpa started teaching me boxing too. He was a golden glove in his days.

SFC (Join to see) - living on the farm and doing hay and chopping wood made me one person you didn't want to get hit by, even dented in a locker at school, fortunately they never found out who did it. My temper use to get the best of me, military taught me how to use it to my advantage.

SFC (Join to see):
I have both: been abused and abused. Children of abusive parents (I had three.): usually grow up to abuse.
I am SOOOOOO NOT PROUD OF THE FACT: THAT I EVER ABUSED A SOUL
I have since re-affirmed my Baptismal Vows; and now, I: (1) save lives: in person, on Facebook, and on the telephone. (2) I try to help anybody and everybody with my GODLY Best efforts. (3) I try to cheer people up/make their days.
It's simply Amazes me that one kind gesture or one or more kind words: will serve to change a person's day around- for the Positive!!!
I pray that you have an AWESOME Day, Sergeant First Class!
-With My Warmest Regards,

Thank you for sharing your experience SPC Margaret Higgins, and I'm glad to hear you were able to find peace. And to revert your learned behaviors for good is a hard task and takes a lot of change in ones heart.
I was raised in an abusive family, only thing was I always fought back. Didn't always work out in my favor as a little kid but I can tell you now I didn't make it easy on the abusers. Some of them still to this day try to test me... lol... But I fight with Legal weapons now. It's amazing what people will do to keep dark secrets from surfacing.
Always stay one step ahead of everyone, my grandma used to tell me. She was my biggest abuser. I don't think she ever thought I would resist her sociopathic abuse. she lives far enough away now that We don't interact. But being free from abuse is an unexplainable freedom!.

I hope you also have a Blessed day SPC.

Cheers
