I personally know Roger Donlon, US Army COL (Retired) who was awarded the first MOH in action for Vietnam, after his outpost was attacked by over 800 North Vietnamese in his camp at Nam Dong, in South Vietnam in July 1964: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=5&v=b_NS8ejQKAo
