Memories seem to be the purview of old farts like us. Few below the age of 30 appear to have much more than a dim knowledge, no recollection, of those events. Whose fault is that? I would argue that it is ours...

I would agree with that argument..., CPT Jack Durish!!! None of my sons ever had hte interest to join the military...perhaps I didn't explain the importance of the military or basically that was the sign of the times in the late 60's and all of the 70's...
