I'm betting a lot of leftists hate what pelosi has said with regard to the USMCA, "a template for future trade" and the language used by the House Ways and Means Chairman Richard Neal (D).
“I do believe that if we can get this to the place it needs to be — which is imminent — that this can be a template for future trade agreements,” Pelosi told reporters during a weekly press briefing. “A good template.”
"I think we would all agree that right now the proposal we have in front of us is substantially better than NAFTA that’s 25 years old. Whether or not it's enough, we’ll have to figure that out," Richard Neal said.

How much you want to bet that the whole reason that they are bringing this to the floor now after all this time has less to do with "safeguards" implemented in negotiations and everything to do with giving House members something positive to talk about when they go home to their districts for Christmas recess.
Should be an interesting juxtaposition - impeach 45 vs 45's trade negotiation is good for workers and good for America.
